We Can Help in All 50 States
Most people don’t know what they’re owed. National Disability connects individuals and families across all 50 states with experienced disability attorneys who fight to get you every dollar you deserve — SSDI, SSI, and VA benefits. A denial is not the end. Many people who are denied are approved after additional review. You pay nothing unless your claim is approved.
National Disability connects clients with experienced attorneys across four major benefit areas. Whether you are applying for the first time or fighting a denial, our nationwide network has handled cases like yours.
For individuals who have worked and paid into Social Security but can no longer work due to a qualifying medical condition. Our attorneys handle initial applications, denials, and ALJ hearings nationwide.
For individuals with limited income and resources who are disabled, blind, or 65 or older. SSI does not require a work history. Our team helps navigate eligibility requirements and the appeals process.
For veterans whose service-connected injuries or illnesses have been denied or underrated. Our VA-accredited attorneys fight denials, pursue higher ratings, and evaluate eligibility for TDIU and the PACT Act.
For adults whose disability began before age 22. DAC benefits are paid based on a parent’s Social Security record and are often significantly higher than SSI. We handle the complex documentation these cases require.
Most initial applications are denied. Our attorneys review denial letters, identify what went wrong, and build the strongest possible case for reconsideration, ALJ hearings, and beyond.
SSI benefits are available to children with qualifying disabilities whose families meet income and resource limits. Our team helps families navigate the application and appeals process.

SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) is based on your work history and the Social Security taxes you have paid. SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is based on financial need and does not require a work history. Some people qualify for both programs simultaneously if their SSDI benefit is low enough to fall within SSI’s financial limits.
A denial is not final. You have 60 days from your denial notice to file for reconsideration. Many successful claims are approved after additional review — particularly with experienced legal representation that can identify what went wrong and how to fix it. Do not give up after an initial denial.
Initial applications typically take three to six months. Reconsiderations take two to four months. ALJ hearings can take a year or more depending on the hearing office and backlog. Having complete, well-organized documentation from the start reduces unnecessary delays at every stage.
You are not required to have an attorney to apply, but representation significantly improves approval rates — especially at the ALJ hearing stage where most successful appeals are won. National Disability connects you with experienced disability attorneys when legal representation is appropriate for your case.
Nothing upfront. All services are provided on a no-win, no-fee basis. You only pay if your claim is approved, and attorney fees in disability cases are regulated by the SSA — typically capped at 25% of past-due benefits up to a set maximum.
If your claim is approved on appeal, you may be entitled to back pay — monthly benefits owed from your original application date through the date of approval. Back pay can represent a significant lump sum, particularly for cases that take a year or more to resolve. Our attorneys account for back pay in every case.
