Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: January 7, 2026

Important Notice We are not a law firm. We are not your lawyers. We do not provide legal advice. This website is for educational and informational purposes only. No attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of this website or by any communication you send or receive through this site. The content and features on this website do not constitute legal advice of any kind, nor do they constitute an offer to enter into or discuss a business relationship with you.

Please read these Terms of Service and Legal Notices carefully before using this website (the “Site” or “Website”). The website you are visiting is owned and managed by Atticor Group LLC (d/b/a Disability Benefit Center), 150 N. Riverside Plaza, Suite 4100, Chicago, IL 60606. Any use of this website is subject to the complete Terms of Use, Disclaimers, and Privacy Policy set forth or linked to below (collectively, this “Agreement”).

By using the Site, you provide your acknowledgment and agreement to all of the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you may not use the Site. Disability Benefit Center (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”) has the right, in our sole discretion, to modify, add, or remove any terms or conditions of this Agreement by posting the changes on the Site. Your continuing use of the Site signifies your acceptance of any such changes.

No Relationship or Obligation Arises from Use of the Site

You should not act (or refrain from acting) on the basis of any information found on this website. Any actions or decisions should be based on the particular facts and circumstances of your situation, including legal advice if appropriate. Disability Benefit Center expressly disclaims all liability with respect to actions taken or not taken based upon any information or other contents of this site.

Viewing the Site, or communicating with Disability Benefit Center by Internet e-mail or through the Site, does not constitute or create a business relationship of any kind. The content and features on the Site do not create, and are not intended to create, an offer to enter into or otherwise discuss a business relationship of any kind.

Confidentiality Is Not Guaranteed

Any information sent to Disability Benefit Center via Internet e-mail or through the website is not secure and will not be treated on a confidential basis. By submitting information to us, you agree that we may release your contact information, and all information submitted by you, to one or more third parties expressing an interest in possibly entering into a business relationship with you, and you understand that such persons may contact you directly — unless you request in writing that you not be contacted.

By submitting information to us, you also agree that we may use your contact information to send you electronic newsletters. In no event shall we be obligated to release any submitted information, but rather may or may not do so at our sole discretion. By accepting the submission of your information, we do not offer any advice on whether you may have a legal remedy, and make no representation or guarantee that any persons will achieve any particular outcome. You are encouraged to seek and retain the advice of counsel if you intend to pursue any potential claims.

Privacy Policy

Please review our privacy policy as it governs your use of the Site and describes Disability Benefit Center’s privacy practices.

By submitting information to us, you understand and agree that you are freely providing your prior written consent to be contacted by or on behalf of Disability Benefit Center. This consent overrides any prior registration on a “Do Not Call” or similar registry, and you authorize us (or our agents, representatives, affiliates, or service providers) to contact you directly — including by e-mails, phone calls, and/or text messages to any telephone number or e-mail address you have provided — unless you subsequently revoke your consent in writing.

You understand that there may be a charge from your wireless carrier for such contact, and that these contacts may be generated by an autodialer and may contain pre-recorded messages. Your prior written consent precludes and releases all claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and other similarly applicable laws. In no event are we obligated to contact you, but rather may or may not do so at our sole discretion.

Participation in the Site and Restrictions on Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to: (1) access and use the Site strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; (2) use the Site solely for internal, personal, non-commercial purposes; and (3) print out discrete information and search results from the Site solely for internal, personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you maintain all copyright and other notices contained therein.

Disability Benefit Center may at any time, for any reason, and without notice or liability: (a) modify, suspend, or terminate operation of or access to the Site and related services, or (b) change, revise, or modify the Site and affiliated services.

By using the Site, you agree to abide by the following rules:

  • The Site may only be used in good faith and may not be used to transmit false, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or otherwise unlawful information, or to infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person or entity.
  • You may not misidentify yourself, impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Unless you have our prior written consent, you will not post advertisements, solicit participants, or exploit any portion of the Site for commercial purposes.
  • You are prohibited from using any computer “worm,” “virus,” or other device intended to disrupt or impair the Site.
  • You are not permitted to collect or store personal data about other users, or to use the Site for data mining or content extraction beyond personal end use.
  • You may not forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Site.
  • You agree not to harm minors in any way.
  • You shall not violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • You agree not to adapt, alter, reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Site; prepare derivative works; remove proprietary notices; frame or mirror the Site; or use it for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
  • You agree not to post any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.

We reserve the right to prohibit access, use, conduct, communications, or content that we, in our sole discretion, deem harmful to the Site, users, our brand, or any other person or entity, or that violates these Terms of Use and/or applicable law. Any unauthorized use automatically terminates the license granted to you hereunder.

Submissions

In the event you submit information through the Site, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information and to promptly update it as needed. If any information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your participation in the Site.

You understand and agree that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, or other materials (“Content”) — whether publicly posted or privately transmitted — are the sole responsibility of the person from which they originated. We do not control all Content posted via the Site and do not guarantee its accuracy, integrity, or quality. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any Content, including any errors, omissions, or damages resulting from its use.

You grant Disability Benefit Center an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, display, publish, publicly perform, transmit, and distribute any Content you submit, without compensation to you. You represent and warrant that: (a) you have the right to submit the Content; (b) Disability Benefit Center will not need to obtain or pay licenses to any third party; (c) the Content does not infringe any third party’s rights; and (d) the Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Intellectual Property Rights

You acknowledge and agree that the Site and any necessary software used in connection with the Site may contain proprietary and confidential information protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. All right, title, and interest — including all copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, and other intellectual property rights — in this Site and its content belong to us or our licensors.

No part of the materials, including graphics or logos available in this Site, may be copied, photocopied, reproduced, translated, or reduced to any electronic or machine-readable form, in whole or in part, without specific permission. You further agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Site or its software.

Information Not Intended to Be Medical Advice

The content provided on this site — including documents, text, graphics, images, videos, or other materials — is for informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment of any medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or seen on this site.

This Site may present information about pharmaceutical drug recalls, which is for informational purposes only and may not reflect the most current information. Do not make any decisions regarding medication or medical providers based on information from this Site.

We Are Not Responsible for Content

We may periodically change, remove, or add material on this website without notice. This material may contain technical or typographical errors. We assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions. Your use of this website is at your own risk. Under no circumstances shall Disability Benefit Center or any other party involved in the creation, production, or delivery of this website be liable to you for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your access to or use of this website.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RELATING TO THIS MATERIAL, FOR ANY USE OF THIS WEBSITE, OR FOR ANY OTHER LINKED WEBSITE.

International Use

The Site is controlled, operated, and administered by Disability Benefit Center from offices within the United States of America and is only intended for use therein. We make no representation regarding use of the Site outside of the United States.

Third Party Websites

This website may contain links to third-party websites for the convenience of our users. We do not endorse any of these third-party sites and do not imply any association between us and those sites, other than as specifically set forth herein. We do not control these third-party websites and cannot represent that their policies and practices will be consistent with these Terms of Use.

If you use links to access and use such websites, you do so at your own risk. We are not responsible for the content or availability of any linked sites. We encourage you to read and understand the terms of use of any linked sites you visit. Links do not imply that we sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with any trademark, trade name, service mark, design, or logo displayed on or accessible through any linked site.

No Obligation to Enter into Business Relationship

Inquiries made through this website are typically responded to by or on behalf of Disability Benefit Center. We reserve the right not to respond to inquiries and may, at our discretion, direct inquiries to other service providers without an initial response. Disability Benefit Center may or may not decide to provide, or otherwise facilitate the provision of, services to you. Telephone calls made or received by Disability Benefit Center regarding an inquiry made through this website may be recorded for record-keeping, training, and quality-assurance purposes.

Disability Benefit Center has tried to comply with applicable law and rules in compiling this website. We welcome comments about our compliance and will update the site as appropriate upon learning of any new or different requirements. To the extent applicable law requires us to designate a principal office or person responsible for this website, Disability Benefit Center designates its office at 150 N. Riverside Plaza, Suite 4100, Chicago, IL 60606, and Jonathan Lubin.

Additional Disclosures Regarding Non-Lawyer Status

As noted above, we are not a law firm, and we are not providing any legal advice of any kind. If you need legal advice, the determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements. Anyone considering a lawyer should independently investigate the lawyer’s credentials and ability, and not rely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise.

Disability Benefit Center is a services company for the legal industry. Disability Benefit Center does not operate as a law firm, lawyer-advertising cooperative, lawyer referral service, prepaid legal insurance provider, or similar organization.

Before you decide to hire any attorney, you should ask them to send you free written information about their qualifications and experience. Additional information about lawyers or firms may also be obtained by contacting the Bar Association in the state in which such lawyers or law firms are licensed.

Website Comment Policy

While not all pages or posts on this website will be open to comments, comments are otherwise welcomed and encouraged. However, comments containing the following may be edited or deleted at our sole discretion: spam or questionable spam; profane, derogatory, or defamatory language; offensive language or concepts; and attacks on individuals or the Company.

Whether a page or post is open to comments is in our sole discretion. We reserve the right, without notice, to pre-approve, edit, or delete any comments for any reason. A posted comment should not be deemed to have been approved or endorsed by us, and we take no responsibility for the content of posted comments. This comment policy is subject to change at any time, with or without notice.

Governing Laws in Case of Dispute; Jurisdiction; Binding Arbitration

These Terms of Use and Disclaimers shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois without regard to any choice of law principles.

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim between us arising out of, relating to, or in connection with your use of this Site, legal services arising from this Site, and/or the relationship between you and us (a “dispute”), you and we waive the right to seek remedies in court, including the right to a jury trial, and agree to submit said dispute exclusively to binding individual arbitration conducted by a single arbitrator subject to the rules of JAMS.

The arbitrator shall not have the authority to decide any claims as a class, collective, or representative action. The seat of the arbitration will be in Chicago, Illinois unless JAMS determines this location would impose undue hardship. The parties will share the expense of arbitration equally, except that if you represent this would impose an undue hardship, you will initially be responsible only for a filing fee equal to the amount required to file your claim in court.

You understand that by agreeing to arbitration, you are waiving certain rights, including the right to bring an action in court, the right to a jury trial, the right to broad discovery, and the right to an appeal. Threshold issues of arbitrability — including the scope of this Agreement — shall be decided by the arbitrator.

Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED SOLELY ON AN “AS-IS/AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; (ii) THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (iii) RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SITE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE; OR (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Limitation of Liability

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF REVENUES, PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, FAILURE TO REALIZE EXPECTED SAVINGS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES; (iii) INVALID DESTINATIONS, TRANSMISSION ERRORS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SITE; (v) YOUR FAILURE TO RECEIVE ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES REQUESTED THROUGH THE SITE; OR (vi) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SITE. IN NO EVENT ARE WE LIABLE TO YOU FOR AN AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN QUESTION, IF ANY.

The above exclusions of warranties and limitations or exclusions of liability apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our privacy policy and legal disclaimer, as each is currently posted, constitute the entire Agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements. You may also be subject to additional terms and conditions that apply when you use or purchase certain other services, affiliate services, third-party content, or third-party software.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Statute of Limitations

You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of this Site, this Agreement, and/or the relationship between you and us must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or be forever barred.

We disclaim all responsibility for your compliance with these rules.
